Tree Planting - April 21st & 28thThank you to all our Holladay Rotary members who joined our past two Tree Planting events celebrating Arbor Day! Both schools, Howard Driggs Elementary and Crestview Elementary, welcomed us and allowed us to interact with the kids as we learned how to care for trees together. We want to thank Holladay City Tree and Tree Utah for your support and collaboration in making these events a success! Here are some fun pictures of the two events. “We care for trees, and they care for you right back." ![]() |

Holladay City Hall SocialThis July, we had our first Potluck Social at the Holladay City Hall with members from other local rotary clubs. We welcomed Mary French as our special guest, who spearheaded The Dictionary Project, which the Holladay Rotary Club has supported annually for decades. The Dictionary Project is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that is working toward providing a dictionary to every student in the United States. The goal of this program is to assist all students in becoming good writers, active readers, creative thinkers, and resourceful learners by providing them with their own personal dictionary. Meeting with Mary was a delight, and a great reminder that each of us can make an immense impact on the world with dedication and perseverance.
